Apple's iPhone 8 reveal event is just a week away, and we've just got our first look inside the Steve Jobs Theater, Apple's new launch base.
Originally dreamed up by Steve Jobs, the brand new Apple Park covers a whopping 175 acres and will home 12,000 employees. It features an R&D facility, an on-site Apple store (naturally), two miles of running paths, and will run entirely on renewable energy. The land alone cost $160 million.
The theatre itself seats 1,000 people and sits on a hill that overlooks the main Apple Park campus. As the main auditorium is underground, these insider snaps (via MacMagazine) provide an early peek at the venue for the tech titan's future product launches.
These construction images give us a better idea of what to expect of the underground theatre where we'll first meet the Cupertino company's 10th anniversary handset. Hope it's finished in time!
