Bethesda could have a mystery title coming before the end of 2017

Bethesda Game Studios has confirmed it has an unannounced game launching before the end of this year, but what could it be?

According to Bethesda VP Pete Hines, the studio currently has a title in development that has yet to be officially revealed to the public.

"We have a ton of stuff going on and we even have a game coming out this year that we haven't even told anybody about," Hines said in a recent interview.

When asked if this project was a new IP, Hines was reluctant to give an answer and remained secretive.

Hines later responded to the video on Twitter by saying it was a mistake, and fans should ignore his previous comments.

I probably just had a concussion from the beating I took online and was rambling. Ignore.

The remainder of Bethesda's 2017 library includes The Evil Within 2 and Wolfenstein 2: New Colossus, two upcoming titles we're excited to finally play.

Fallout 4, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and DOOM are also coming to virtual reality in the near future, converting existing experiences to the new medium.

Bethesda is renown for staying quiet in regards to upcoming titles, with its E3 briefing this year only touching upon games coming in 2017.
