LA Noire is making a comeback on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch

Rockstar Games has announced that LA Noire is coming to current-gen consoles later this year.

The company confirmed the previously rumoured remaster in a recent blog post, noting that it will be launching across PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on November 14.

Virtual reality support for LA Noire is also coming to HTC Vive in the form of LA Noire: The VR Case Files. Support for other headsets is unconfirmed.

Having first launched for PS3 and Xbox 360 back in November 2011, the 1940's crime drama had you solving crimes as LA detective Cole Phelps.

It's a fun and unique experience, and received significant praise upon its original release for its excellent facial animation.

The upcoming release will feature the original game and all of its downloadable content alongside upgraded visuals. It'll also support 4K on Xbox One X.

We're surprised that LA Noire is coming to Nintendo Switch, as it will be the first time Rockstar has released a game for the company's platforms in 8 years or so.

Rockstar has said it will be sharing further information on LA Noire "in the weeks ahead," so we'll be sure to keep you updated.
